I already have my own placeJoin Team Scope on the starting line of this iconic event and be a marathon hero while helping achieve disability equality.
You'll start the iconic 26.2 miles in Greenwich Park accompanied by 50,000 other runners. Along the route, you'll run past the Cutty Sark, over the world famous Tower Bridge and through the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. The streets will be lined by spectators, cheering you on as you run towards the Mall for a real hero's welcome in front of Buckingham Palace.
The money you raise helps Scope continue supporting disabled people and create a fairer society.
The cost of living crisis has hit disabled people the hardest. From escalating energy bills and food expenses to rising care costs and inflation.
Many disabled people are being forced to make impossible choices. Choices between running life-saving equipment or eating.
That's why at Scope, we are determined more than ever to be there so we can:
By joining #TeamScope for the London Marathon 2025, you are joining our movement for change. Together, we’ll use our collective power to change attitudes and end the injustice. Together, we'll be unstoppable.
We have a limited number of places, so please tell us why you want to run with Scope and how you plan to raise the £2,000 minimum sponsorship. The more detail the better! We'll then be in touch to discuss your application.
Successful applicants will be sent a payment link to pay the £75 registration fee and secure their place.
2022 #TeamScope runnerI am incredibly proud to have run a marathon and even prouder to have run it for a wonderful charity like Scope. I will always feel like I am part of the Scope family now. Thank you so much for giving me this amazing opportunity.
If you already have a ballot place or 'good for age' place in the London Marathon, the good news is you can still run with Scope, we’d love to have you on the team!
You’ll get all the same support as our charity place runners but without a minimum sponsorship pledge. We just ask that you raise as much as you can.
The London Marathon welcomes the use of standard wheelchairs and race runners in the mass participation event.
Free places for guides and support runners are issued where necessary. Guides and support runners will receive a finisher's medal, t-shirt and recovery bag when they cross the finish line.
All participants must complete the event by the official cut-off time which is currently 7pm. If you would like to request a waiver of the cut-off time for medal purposes, you can submit a request to the London Marathon.
Caller to the Scope helplineI can honestly say that I don’t think I could have coped had it not been for the helpline. They have given me so much time and support through all my difficulties and battles.
Help this great work to continue. Apply for a place in the London Marathon and run with Team Scope. Be a Disability Gamechanger.
