Job description

Role purpose

As our CRM Developer, you will primarily act as one of Scopes technical lead to configure/develop our Dynamics 365 estate over time.

The role will play a key part in CRM systems solutions architecture and design. You will work with the Business Intelligence team to help shape the wider Dynamics strategy inputting and further enhancing our systems.

Main responsibilities  

  • Be a go-to expert for Dynamics CRM administration, and problem resolution.
  • Solving business challenges for internal customers. Conduct workshops together with the business and the Business Intelligence team to work out the optimal solution, and then make it happen.
  • Actively seek and develop areas for improvement to platform performance and stability.
  • Improve the system functionality through turning user stories into released functionality. Working to monthly releases you will help specify, configure, develop and test all changes to Scope Dynamics 365 estate before pushing through into the production environment. 
  • Acting as part of the technical reviewer team in the CRM system change management process, accountable for the quality of the technical deliverables for the team and providing in-depth knowledge and support to resolve CRM systems-related incidents.
  • Managing integrations and imports into the system
  • Ensure full documentation and maintenance of existing and new customizations and workflows.
  • Ensure all documentation is kept updated and relevant knowledgebases (Scribehow/DevOps) reflect the latest changes.
  • Develop support materials and technical documentation to be shared with Database and Analysis and IT teams.
  • Ensure system compliance with Company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customizations, and changes
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft Dynamics 365 developments and ensure any changes are impact assessed and incorporated into a change cycle.
  • Assist in leading on project ideas, Proof Of Concept's and solutioning with the Head of Business Intelligence and other Business Intelligence team members. Provide training and support alongside the CRM Team.
  • Undertake any other delegated duties or tasks within the responsibility of the post.

Knowledge and experience

Essential

  • Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365
  • Power Apps, Power Platform, Power Pages, Customer Voice, Microsoft Dynamics 365 fundamentals, Dynamics 365 core and Dynamics 365 Unified interface.
  • Experience of developing and implementing customisations in Dynamics 365, including understandings of a back-end database systems and cloud-based services
  • Experience with data migration/ integration (such as SSIS, Power Automate, Rest API’s, Azure Data Factory and Fabric)
  • Experience of quality assurance and testing within a development team
  • Experience of working with third-party tools to support various phases of a project lifecycle e.g. Visio, JIRA, Azure, DevOps, etc.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, gathering and documenting requirements, translating requirements into business processes and user stories, stakeholder engagement, creative thinking, presenting and coaching.
  • Experience of working with different project methodologies, supporting the planning of a project delivery, specifically, iterative, waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in related technologies on the Microsoft Stack - Office 365, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint
