Job description

Role purpose

To support Scope’s largest cohort of people and places, the Retail and Communities directorate. By carrying out essential administrative activities to ensure compliance and efficiencies until systems are upgraded and organisational processes improved. A key part of the role includes providing key performance data and insight to drive commercial performance.

Main responsibilities

  • Collate key performance data from various systems and producing reports to provide the Retail Field leadership team with insight to make decisions to maximise sales and profit.
  • Collate and track data from various systems to provide the Retail Field leadership team with insight to make decisions to ensure safeguarding and health and safety compliance across the Retail estate.
  • Schedule cross-organisational meetings to ensure compliance and efficient running of the Retail operation, including with the Volunteering, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Property teams. And risk meetings.
  • Management of meeting invites (Divisional quarterly and ad hoc meetings), agendas, and actions, following up to ensure completion and mitigation of risk.

Person Specification

Knowledge and experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience of using business administrative systems and processes.
  • Demonstrable experience of and knowledge as to how to prepare reports using Excel
  • Experience of working in an administrative role

Desirable

  • Understanding of the Social Model of Disability
  • Experience of working in the third sector.

Skills

Essential

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good data analysis skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Numerate and able to work with large volumes of data
