Vote for Scope's spirit film and help us win a Smiley Award!

The Smiley Charity Film Awards celebrate the success of film in fundraising, to increase exposure of charity films and to encourage donations for good causes.

Our film shows the many ways that life is still unequal for disabled people. It invites viewers to join an unstoppable movement of disabled people and allies. To create an equal future, where disabled people have the same rights and opportunities as everyone. Where barriers are removed. And attitudes are transformed.

Set to the powerful dance anthem Galvanize by the Chemical Brothers, the film follows disabled people as they go about their day. It shows how life is still so unequal. Negative attitudes such as staring and the judgement of others. Physical barriers such as broken lifts and abandoned hire bikes.

Our characters urge you to take action. Don’t hold back from calling out injustice, from being an ally, from joining the movement for change. The campaign reached lots of people. And your vote will help us to reach an even wider audience.

We're excited that our brand spirit film, 'Don't Hold Back', has been nominated for a Smiley Charity Film Award.  And we need your votes to help us get to the judging stage.

It is free to vote and it only takes a few clicks. To ensure that only 1 vote per film is counted, you need to enter your email address. This is simply to make sure that the voting process is fair.  Voting closes on 29 January 2025.
