We warmly welcome all applicants who meet the criteria for the roles. We particularly welcome applications from disabled people, and those who bring lived experience to the roles. We also encourage applications from individuals of all socio-economic backgrounds, genders, ethnicities, and abilities, including those from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities.
We value diverse perspectives that ensure our leadership reflects the communities we work with.
Scope is committed to open, fair, and transparent recruitment. If you need adjustments or have any questions, please contact governance@scope.org.uk.
Scope’s Trustees are Company Directors. Trustees are responsible for the strategic direction of Scope. Trustees can approve any recommendations made by Committees. And they can make any other decisions acting in the best interests of the Charity. Decisions are made collectively as a Board.
Scope’s Independent Committee Members supplement the skills mix of Trustees by providing expertise and experience to the Board’s Committees. This allows Independent Committee Members to guide and challenge our Board and Executive Leadership. In doing so, they help shape and support Scope’s new strategy.
Together, both roles help ensure Scope achieves its mission and goals.
