We heard from speakers on how disabled people are being directly affected by the current crisis. And we shared:

Even before the crisis, disabled people faced an average extra cost of £583 a month. This could be due to higher energy usage because of the need to:
This has only worsened with the crisis.

The evidence collected shows how disabled people and families are facing the brunt of the cost of living crisis. Disabled people are being forced to make decisions nobody should have to make.
The Government has promised further help and cost of living payments for disabled people but this will not be until April 2023 at the earliest. But disabled people cannot wait!
